Ruven Teitelbaum (17/1/1907 Tapa – 4/9/1941 Tallinn), weight lifter.
Studied in Tapa and Tallinn Jewish gymnasium. Started weight-lifting in 1925 in “Sport” society. In 1929 was 6th in Estonian championship (light weight). Was 7 times Estonian champion in light weight (1927-1933).
5 Estonian records: 3 in pushing and 2 in left hand lifting. In 1932 exceeded Estonian I class norm in pentathlon with 440.7 (75 kg). 7 times was an Estonian team member.
Worked as a driver in Tallinn. Murdered by Nazis in Tallinn in 1941.
