Sara Teitelbaum (20/7/1910 Tapa – 7/6/1941 Tallinn)
Track and field athletics, basketball and valleyballer. Graduated from Tallinn Jewish Gymnasium. Started her sport activities in age of 15 with the gymnastics teacher Ago Rooseste. In 1927-1930 was 17 times Estonian champion in athletics. In 1929 won the running competition cup in Riga, and in 1930 in Prague V women world championship was 6th in long jumping. In 1929 was first in 9 out of 10 Estonian records (in high jump was the second), and in 9 categories improved the Estonian record in 1926-1930 - all together 28 times. …
Died from tuberculosis.
