1941 - Soviet deportations (the first - 4th of June 1941).
The Broken Wheat Flower* (Murtud Rukkilill) badge given in 2001 to Henrietta Kaplan (Bakscht), born in 1903 in Tartu. Her father Solomon (Schlomo) Bakscht was the last head of the Tartu Jewish community before the WWII. On 14.6.1941 She was deported to Narim and from there to the North Ural.  She returned (blind) to Estonia in 1957. Henriette Kaplan died on 2.12.2009 in Tel-Aviv. She was the oldest known estonian Jew. This badge was presented to her older son Jakob Kaplan by the Estonian President L. Meri in person in Elva (near Tartu).
